Exciting week ahead folks!
Thursday was the day of my final presentation for Media Violence. "Gender Violence in Satanic horror films with affirms patriarchy, challenges religion and destroys feminism" i got an A but i spent the rehearsals calling him Santa which could have ruined some kids lives. Glad its over and done with but also kind of sad that i am approaching the end of my amazing semester at Juniata College. If i could afford $42,000 a year i would stay here!
Also it was our last Global Village Dinner!
Friday was of course the Royal Wedding- how can anyone have missed it? Even Americans had taken the day off work just to watch it. No one has told them that the Royals are not American. I didn't personally watch it but i will in about June time i have seen the highlights and it has been interesting to see it from across the pond. what I did find interesting was that in the trashy American magazines, they had reported that Will and Kate were on the verge of breaking up weeks before the wedding. i put it down to jealousy.
Work load has been so intense, i am sleep deprived but the work is getting done so its all good and by Friday everything should be handed in and done with. =)
Saturday was my day to chill out and relax at Pigroast by Raystown Lake. The sun was out and it was a lovely sunny day but the roast was not actually by the lake. Meagan and I went and found the lake so its all good. Was so nice to get out of revising and whatnot to relax.
Sunday i spent 9 hours revising for my Philosophy exam which now means i am done with it forever! yayyyyyy
Monday morning, exam went fairly good but the main news of the day was about Osama Bin Laden's Death. To the point that the Wild Hunters of Juniata created an event which included a celebration of Bin Laden's death. A counter event was created against the celebration of a death. It was a heated argument to which the opposing ended up crying and walking out. The other side had a cake make which read "Burn in Hell Bin Laden"
