Week 8

This week in general was more entertaining than i thought it would be. Albeit a long working week what with essays due, and a debate to put together but all in all a good week. Thursday came and my room mate Monica had finished her exams and wanted to go out for a few drinks to celebrate so naturally i followed =).

She may have finished i however, had not. 8 cocktails and a pint of Guinness later we went home at about midnight with my debate approaching at 9am. This wasn't looking good and knowing who my team were against wasn't fantastic either. However, 9am came and we nailed the debate leaving with an A. I am not sure if i was still drunk or a bit hungover but anyhow we won so yay!

With that in mind this meant my spring break was about to start...4 loads of washing and a load of packing to do but Saturday morning i was heading for NYC on a 6hour 30min train ride....not the most thrilling but nonetheless had to be done. I had an Amish person sit next to me who ended up watching Megamind (2010) with me which was slightly odd. I spent Saturday night in NYC ready for the flight to Las Vegas on the Sunday. I forgot how exhausting travelling can be!

Sunday night we arrived in Las Vegas!!!! So excited even though being tired had kicked in- it's Vegas!! i can still be excited about it. I love how it is its own little world and the novelty of the hotels are great. Monday was spent shopping and just wandering about mostly. Uggs for less than £100 and real ones at that!

Slot machines are everywhere, even in the airport but i couldn't resist putting some money in the machine....and we won!!! Doubled our money. RESULT! Tonight will be spent at Mandalay Bay seeing The Lion King on stage. =) 

P.S. Also in line to win 2 Mini Cooper S' and a Corvette. Fingers crossed.
